This breaks my heart. Someone so talented should never have to write this. The music Patrick has released and performed in the last year was indeed much different than anything Fall Out Boy ever did. If it’s not your bag, that’s cool. But just because folks can’t get past their favorite FOB album that doesn’t mean that everything anyone in the band has done is any less. Haters to the left, make room for the people who appreciate it.
I am one of many inspired by Patrick’s passion and talent and to say that I’m disappointed that those people are ruining it for everyone is a great understatement.
Patrick, please don’t go. The fans that still love your music are more dedicated than ever.
